Bria Wade is the Associate Director of College and Career Access at DC Prep, where she guides rising seniors through every stage of the college application process with an emphasis on financial feasibility. Through one-on-one advising and parent workshops, she helps students with a wide range of academic profiles and interests build strong college lists, craft strong essays, and step into their next chapter with confidence.
Bria brings several years of experience in education and youth development across Washington, DC. Before joining DC Prep, she was a Scholar Program Coordinator at Generation Hope, supporting student-parents pursuing college degrees. As a Program Manager at Drive Agency, she led social impact projects, including managing IKEA's 25-member global youth advisory council. She was also a founding leadership team member of the Social Justice School, DC's first social justice public charter school.
Bria earned her BA in African American Studies and Education from Georgetown University.
