Programs
Across DC, dedicated professionals are doing the work of supporting young people toward postsecondary success - often without the connection, data, or shared strategy that would let their efforts add up to something larger.
Our programs are built to change that. Each one creates space for practitioners, leaders, and policy makers to learn from each other, align on what’s working, and move from siloed effort to coordinated action.
Roundtables
Membership-wide gatherings featuring guest speakers, professional development, and time to connect across the postsecondary ecosystem. The Collaborative’s most open door and the easiest way to get started.
For: All Collaborative members
Cadence: Every other month
City Leader Sessions
Working sessions where leaders share citywide initiatives, updates, and emerging priorities. The throughline between the practitioners doing the work and the decision-makers shaping the landscape around it.
For: Members looking for alignment with citywide strategy
Cadence: Periodic, tied to citywide developments
Leaders Convenings
Focused strategy sessions for executive and agency directors, program leaders, and senior staff to tackle shared challenges and help set the direction of the field. Smaller rooms, higher-level discussions.
For: Senior leaders across the postsecondary ecosystem
Cadence: Quarterly
Knowledge Networks
Professional learning communities built around problems of practice, where practitioners working on the same challenges share what’s working, troubleshoot what isn’t, and create practical tools. This is where practitioners build real working relationships.
For: Educators, advisors, navigators, coaches, and other learner-facing practitioners working directly with students and residents on postsecondary access and success
Structure: Cohort-based
Next Cohort: Fall 2026
