Jose Artiga is a Scholar Program Advisor at New Futures, where he supports students across the DC region with college planning, transfer processes, financial planning, and academic coaching. He brings a strong background in helping young people build the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to become active contributors to their communities.

Beyond academics, Jose prepares students for career success by helping them strengthen professional skills such as work ethic, time management, communication, and teamwork. Before joining New Futures, he worked at Genesys Works, part of the Talent for Tomorrow Alliance, where he coached high school students throughout the metropolitan area as they gained professional experience, helping them improve their performance and make meaningful contributions in the workplace. His experience also includes student recruitment, workshop planning, and career preparation.
