Dr. Kaiee Hooper

Dr. Kaiee Hooper is an experienced educator and educational leader with more than 20 years of experience in teaching, student support, curriculum development, and school leadership in the United States and Jamaica. She currently serves as the College & Career Coordinator at Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C., where she supports students in grades 9–12 with college and career exploration, postsecondary planning, college admissions testing, and work-based learning opportunities.
Dr. Hooper has held a variety of leadership roles, including Curriculum Coordinator, Content Area Lead, Mentoring Teacher Coordinator, Lead Teacher, and Credit Recovery/Saturday School Administrator. Her experience includes mentoring educators, facilitating professional learning communities, developing instructional programs, analyzing student data, and supporting academic achievement.
A passionate Spanish educator, Dr. Hooper began her career in Jamaica, where she served as a Spanish teacher and Head of the Spanish Department before continuing her educational career in Washington, D.C. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Japanese from the University of the West Indies, and a Diploma in Teaching Secondary Education from Shortwood Teachers’ College.
Dr. Hooper is committed to empowering students and educators through meaningful educational experiences, strong relationships, college and career readiness, and opportunities that prepare learners for success beyond high school.
