Bethany Monea is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of the District of Columbia, where she teaches writing and supports community engagement initiatives. She received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is committed to using youth-led, arts-based, and community-engaged research methods to expand equitable participation in knowledge production and create a more diverse and inclusive higher education landscape.
