Fall 2026 Knowledge Network

A facilitated professional learning community for educators, advisors, navigators, coaches, and other learner-facing professionals committed to improving postsecondary access and success across DC.

The DC Postsecondary Success Collaborative is launching a new Knowledge Network for educators, advisors, navigators, coaches, and other learner-facing professionals working across the District's postsecondary ecosystem.

Centered on the theme "Advising Practices in a Changing Landscape," this facilitated cohort will bring together up to 15 practitioners for sustained peer learning, collaborative problem-solving, and honest conversation about the opportunities and challenges shaping advising today.

Unlike a traditional professional development session, the Knowledge Network is designed to create an ongoing community of practice where participants can build relationships, test new ideas, and learn alongside peers facing similar challenges.

Together, participants will strengthen their practice, build lasting cross-sector relationships, and contribute tools and resources to a growing practitioner resource library for professionals across the city.

When the adults supporting DC learners are better connected and better equipped, young people achieve better outcomes.
