Collaborative Advisory Committee Member

Kenya Henry is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for empowering youth and advocating for greater educational opportunities. Deeply committed to the success of young people, she emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility in creating positive change. Kenya believes that instead of focusing on the challenges youth face, individuals should ask themselves how they can contribute to making a lasting impact.

She currently serves as a Youth Mentor and Student Support Specialist with Limitless Possibilities for PGCPS, where she helps guide students toward academic and personal success. In addition, Kenya works with Mission First as an After-School Counselor, providing support and enrichment opportunities to students beyond the classroom.

Through her work, Kenya strives to inspire, uplift, and create pathways for young people to thrive. She was also a member of the DC Postsecondary Success Collaborative’s first Youth Advisory Council from 2024-2025.

Kenya is a proud graduate of Frank W. Ballou Senior High School. She went on to earn her degree in Health Education from the University of the District of Columbia and obtained her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from Prince George’s Community College.
